The Aziz story is very debatable, but most of the other high profile cases seem to be a lot more cut and dry.
Yeah, I think Mike has offered to make a thread of just the offers. To clean that up from the chatter.Screamin Jawas wrote:Also... Ovechkin.

Me explaining what happened to people of colour and indigenous people isn’t gross. Its kind. There’s a difference.
I haven’t read your report yet.

Ahh, well - that isn’t gross either.
Sexual harassment is a matter to be taken seriously. IMO anyway.

Mmm wasn't she more upset that he didn't read her non-verbal cues?Dragons wrote:‘He came on to me, after I accepted his invitation to going back to his place. This is now done. If I missed moving any offers, please lemme know - there was a LOT of shit to wade through, as you can imagine.Uptown Heartbreakers wrote:Yeah, I think Mike has offered to make a thread of just the offers. To clean that up from the chatter.Screamin Jawas wrote:Also... Ovechkin.

Some of these guys are just an abuse of power and get the pervy label. I guess thats what they call sexual misconduct tho.Tornadoes wrote:The Aziz story is very debatable, but most of the other high profile cases seem to be a lot more cut and dry.
I think you're understating the issue with Louis.Shrubdogs wrote:Some of these guys are just an abuse of power and get the pervy label. Ie: Louis CK stroking himself in a robe in front of some chicks.
But theres no assault there. Thats just silly. Creepy sure but hes not a Weinstein. Harvey falls in the assault or rape category certainly.
Agreed.Tornadoes wrote:The Aziz story is very debatable, but most of the other high profile cases seem to be a lot more cut and dry.
Totally agree.Racers wrote:The Aziz one runs the risk of jumping-the-shark, in that it reads more like the case of a "date gone bad" than some pervasive sexual harassment/quid-pro-quo type power play in Hollywood.
At what point do you take the very great things that have happened (outing the creeps) and turn that into something that gets trivial.
These are such important things, I think, that you don't want to run the risk of Boy Who Cried Wolfing it.
At least we've seen there's been some pushback there, and people are going "Hold on, let's be reasonable here."
Solid summary.79ers wrote:Agreed.Tornadoes wrote:The Aziz story is very debatable, but most of the other high profile cases seem to be a lot more cut and dry.
Sexual harassment in the workplace is serious and there should be 0 tolerance
Taking a girl on a date, bringing her home, then constantly pointing at your crotch hoping she'll go to town on you, and then having her leave in tears, just means you have no game, not that you should be called out for sexual harassment.
Ovechkin!
